To further support the pulp and paper industry with quality measurement applications, KPM (Kajaani Process Measurements Ltd.) has entered into an agreement with Cerlic Controls AB to acquire Cerlic Pulp and Paper sensor technology.

KPM has been the exclusive distributor of Cerlic Pulp & Paper optical consistency sensors for many years. This agreement is the natural continuation of the relationship between the two companies. KPM will continue to develop optical sensors for the pulp and paper industry, and Cerlic will focus on the water and sewage business.

The first step will be to label optical consistency transmitters with the name KPM and develop a user interface similar to other KPM paper and cellulose consistency transmitters.

KPM is a company with key competence when it comes to applications for consistency transmitters, samplers and foil break detectors and the products represent the most progressive solutions in the field.
